Kim Tesakov was born 20 Febr. 1936 in the town of Cherven. He graduated from the musical college in Gomel, then from the Novosibirsk conservatoire (class of G. Ivanov, he studied also with D.Schostakovich). Laureate of All-Union contests, Honoured art worker of Belarus, laureate of the Republican V.Vitka reward, Honoured citizen of Cherven.
Quartets of Kim Tesakov have been performed in 34 countries. His 4th symphony was performed in Madrid (conductor Svetlanov)

I took 2 lines from "Illiada" as the basic idea of the content:"Love of Gods gives rise to worlds and love of people gives rise to man". But in my work I went out of the bounders of these 2 lines, interpreted them on behalf of contemporary man. I wanted to overcome traditional theatricality, to deepen into philosophy, profound philosophy that may be was not yet completely clear to me.
