Dmitry Lybin was born 27.06.1963 in Minsk, Belarus. He graduated from the Russian Academy of music in Moscow (1986) as musicologist and then from Belarusian Academy of music as composer (prof. D.Smolsky's class). Member of Belarusian composers union, chair-man of artistic staff (2001) of Belarusian society of contemporary music. Teacher of orchestration, form and score reading at Belarussian Academy of music, musical consultant of "Atlar" Advertising company. International chess master of FIDE (1995) and ICCF (1998).
