Anna Korotkina was born in Bitebsk. She graduated from the University of culture in Minsk, and then from the Belarusian Academy of Music (class of A. Mdivani). course at the Academy of music in Warsaw. At the present time she teaches composition at the College of arts in Minsk, and also works in the Contemporary knowledge Institute (Minsk). Her work "The legend about king Stakh" was the obligatory composition at the piano contest "Minsk 2000". A. Korotkina is a member of Composers Union (since 1996), Modern music association(1998).
